Carnival Celebration Comes to Provincetown

The 35th annual Carnival comes to Provincetown August 18th through August 24th.  As always, the

celebration is highlighted by the parade on Thursday.  The theme for the festivities is ‘Viva Las Vegas’.  Decorations are going up throughout town including at The Somerset House Inn which is a Vegas Wedding Chapel.  Highlights during the week include

  • Costume Opening Party at Boat Slip Monday 9pm
  • Luck be a Lady Boat Cruise on Tuesday at 6:30pm
  • Jubilee Drag Bingo at UU Meeting House Wednesday 6:30pm
  • Carnival Parade starts at 3pm in far East End on Thursday
  • Hangover Drag Brunch at Patio Restaurant noon on Friday
