first decade, the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival has
premiered ten new works by Tennessee Williams, and helped reinvigorate the
reputation of America’s great playwright with innovative productions of his
late works, short plays, and avant-garde experiments.
is a breathtakingly beautiful time of year on Cape Cod. The light changes to a
milky glow, and the warm days end with bittersweet sunsets that signal the
inevitable transition from summer to fall. Sunny days can still be hot, the
water is still warm enough to take a swim, and the evenings are nice and cool
— so you can wear your new sweater or jacket to the theater.
