April 1 2020 Update

Dutch door welcome

Bizzo greets guests

Hello All!

We wanted to give you an update on what is happening in Provincetown and in MA. Yesterday Governor Baker extended the Order for non-essential businesses to be closed through May 4, 2020. As we all know this can be extended so our opening date is still in flux. Once the governor gives us the okay we will be ready to go and we are guessing and hoping that many of you will be anxious to visit Provincetown and the Somerset House Inn. As you can see Bizzo is anxious to serve you.

Many of our regulars have come to expect and appreciate the high level of cleanliness we provide on a regular basis. During this pandemic we are taking things a step further and we want you to know we are making our home a safe haven for you. When you visit most of these things will not be visible but there will be some differences during food service.

We hope everyone is staying safe. We heard an interesting thing the other day that the term ‘social distancing’ should be changed to ‘physical distancing’ since in these modern times we can stay social and connected in a myriad of ways. These are difficult times so reach out and make sure those you love are doing okay.

We are thinking of everyone and look forward to a day in the near future when we can welcome you back to Provincetown.
