Non-Refundable Rate Option:

Your reservation is non-refundable 24 hours after the reservation was made, but at a lower room rate than if you go with our Refundable Rate. We understand that there are circumstances in which a guest may need to cancel and we ask that you contact us directly by emailing info@somersethouseinn.com, or calling 774-392-7171 between the hours of 10am and 6:30pm EST to notify us that you need to cancel your reservation. While your reservation is non-refundable, it can be changed to other available dates within one year of the original booking date.

Refundable Rate Option:

Only an option during high season (Mid-May through Mid-September and excludes some theme weeks. The reservation is refundable up to 7 days prior to arrival with written notice of cancellation to info@somersethouseinn.com. A full refund minus a 10% charge for the credit card fee will be made to your card we have on file. The reservation is fully changeable subject to availability and rates may apply.

Please consider purchasing travel insurance for any unforeseen events that would require you to cancel your reservation without proper notice of 21 days in advance of your arrival. Check out insuremytrip.com for coverage.

Check in time begins at 3:00pm. Guest Reception is open until 6:30pm daily. If you are checking in later than 6:30pm, please let Somerset House staff know so that alternate check-in arrangements may be made available to you.

Check out time is 11:00am daily. We are unable to arrange late check-outs. If you are on a later ferry, or are not departing until later in the day, we can hold your bags for you until your departure time. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for early departures or late arrivals.

Parking in Provincetown is extremely limited and we encourage guests to travel by Ferry, bus or Cape Air when possible. Between May and October, parking is available for guests at a rate of $20/night. There are two parking locations that are offered: three on-site parking spots and the rest are just a few blocks away on Bradford Street. Our on-site spots are determined on a first-come basis during our check-in hours (10am-6:30pm EST) and may not be reserved. We do not have handicap accessible parking, but if you have concerns about mobility, call us and we can discuss options.

We have minimum night stay requirements for certain weeks and weekends of the year that coincide with high season, popular booking periods, or theme weeks that draw travelers to Provincetown. You will see these minimum night stays as you view the reservation calendar. However, if you have any questions about minimum night stays, please contact us. Shorter stays may become available due to other reservations and you are encourage to inquire.

Somerset House provides an adult-forward and friendly atmosphere. Thus we require guests to be 16 years of age or older to stay at our Inn.

Somerset House Inn is a non-smoking/non-vaping house and property.

At this time, we are not accepting pets in our guest rooms and they would be unable to stay with you during your time at the Somerset House Inn.

The charge for losing your room key is $35 per key.
